A Little About Us... I’m an Arizona native, though most of my formative years were spent in a small town in upstate New York between Albany and Saratoga. I returned to Arizona in 1994, first settling in Phoenix. I quickly discovered that I couldn’t tolerate the intense heat, dense traffic and suffocating smog and soon moved to Flagstaff to finish my bachelor’s degree. While attending NAU, I discovered the Verde Valley through frequent weekend canoe and kayak trips down the Verde River. I fell in love with the Verde Valley’s stately beauty, small friendly towns and moved here shortly after graduation. One of the nicest things about the Verde Valley is having quick and convenient access to both regions without having to endure the temperature extremes of a Flagstaff winter or a Phoenix summer on a daily basis. Ken moved to the Verde Valley from Fargo, North Dakota, in 2000, after coming to visit a friend over a thanksgiving weekend. He was ready for a change of scenery and a change of climate! We both now live very happily without a snow shovel and like the fact that our credit cards are no longer used to scrape ice of the windshield in the morning! We are full time agents & constantly familiarize ourselves with what is available in our local market and the direction of future area development. Ken and I both have a knack for finding bargain properties and really enjoy working with investors, helping them achieve a road to retirement. It is also a great joy to help newcomers relocate to the Verde Valley. While we believe real estate is an incredibly serious business, an element of fun and friendship is necessary to make the transactions flow smoothly. After ten years in the real estate business, we have the ability to “Tune-In” to what you are looking for, and not waste your time with properties that just won’t work. Anybody can find you a house. Ken’s Experience: Ken comes to the real estate business with a vast amount of experience in construction, management, sales and public relations which make him a natural at evaluating property and juggling all the fine details involved in a typical area transaction. Responsible for acquiring new accounts, presentations and tours for school children. Enacted a community wide recycling program and decreased tonnage at local landfill by 20%, despite an increase in area population. · 1991-1995 Heavy Equipment Operator. Building roads in The Dakota’s, Wyoming and Montana. |
