The Verde River winds through Clarkdale, Cottonwood and Camp Verde before heading to the Phoenix area. Canoes, duckies and kayaks frequently travel down the Verde River. Some local boaters have floated the Verde River from Perkinsville all the way down to Horseshoe Dam, North of Scottsdale. |
